The NОFA Foundation took an active part in the work of the practical regional conferences on the application of the International Standards of Auditing in Russia conducted by the SRO "Russian Union of Auditors".

In the period from 19 to 21 April 2017, conferences were held in Novosibirsk, Khabarovsk and Vladivostok, in which auditors from Siberia and the Far East took part and on April 27, 2017 - in Yekaterinburg, where auditors of the Urals district have been gathered.

More than 500 auditors attended the conferences. Representatives of the Federal Treasury, Federal Financial Monitoring Service, and major audit organizations were the speakers.

Coordinator of the ISAs translation project form NOFA Foundation Alla Ezhova in her speech "Innovations in the International Standards of Auditing" revealed the main differences between the ISA from previous national standards, highlighted the difficulties encountered in the translation process, called for active cooperation to improve both the translation of standards and the ISAs themselves, noted the importance of harmonizing the terminology used in various Regulations of similar subjects, such as IFRS and ISA, and the role of the NOFA foundation in coordinating this work.

Participants of the conferences expressed their deep gratitude to the organizers and speakers for the disclosure of truly significant, urgent and practical issues related to the current activity of the audit community.
